Q: wedding cakes pictures?
Do you have any pictures of wedding cakes? I have no idea how i want my wedding cake. I look at websites but I cant decide.so if you can please choose a wedding cake that you like add the website so i can see it .

the lady that is doing my cake said she will do it for $600 however I want it

mrrmaid -i did see her work and she is charching me $600 for any cake that feeds 300 ppl that is how she does it and she is also giving me free samples of as many cakes as I want to taste…I tought it was weird too but my friend had her cake done by her too and it was great.thank you though I appriciate your concern

A: Do you know this woman’s work really well? I ask because most bakers would not “do a cake any way you want for $600.” Some cakes are require much more work and expense to make than others, not to mention some are much harder to transport and set up.

So if she charges you $600 flat you might be getting a great bargain (this is rare) or you might be getting overcharged, or you might not be 100% happy with the work. It’s a bit odd.

Q: Wedding Cakes?
I would really like a simple White Wedding cake, but I am having trouble finding any designs that don’t include flowers or silver balls!

A: Unfortunatley, when you visit a wedding website they will have pictures of EVERYTHING. I do suggest checking out Martha Stewart Weddings as her site seems to cater to simple designs. Weddingchannel.com has a HUGE gallery of cakes with a lot of simple designs mixed in. Beware…it will take some leg work and a few minutes of clicking through slideshows but in the end its worth it if you find what you are looking for. Good Luck!

Q: I am looking for money saving ideas for weddings! Also I am looking for pictures of star shaped wedding cakes!
I am planning on getting married in June and I want to have a fun casual reception that is star themed… just because I love them! Any decorationg ideas that has to do with stars would be great! I also thought of putting a star on my wedding dress! Any ideas let me know!!

A: I would have twinkling light canopies,falling star ribbons and dancing star centerpieces. As for the cake, I would have a star shape cake with little starlets for the guests. For flowers I would use Stargazers and Baby’s Breath.

Q: Any one have a good idea for a teacher themed wedding cake? Pictures?
My fiance and I are teachers and we are looking for a cake for our wedding. Any Suggestions? pictures?

A: While I have no ideas as to the cake, it might be fun to have a cake knife and “pie server” that have rulers as the handle. I’m sure someplace could be found that could successfully attach a wooden ruler in place of a wooden handle.
